I predict detachable collars will be making a big comeback. Lacy ones. Bejewelled ones. Even furry ones. This is a fox fur collar that I took off an ’70s-style leather jacket that I’ve had for about 8 years. The jacket is in a sad state of repair. I just looped some grosgrain through the bits used to attach the collar to jacket and made what Mr. Andrew calls “a fur necklace.” The cat likes it too.
