Dispatch From London Fashion Week F/W 2010: Runway Hair

Our pals at Pantene are once again sending updates on the runway updos created by their Global Ambassador Sam McKnight.

McKnight created pretty plaits (pictured above) for last Sunday’s Clements Ribeiro‘s Fall/Winter 2010 “Haute Bohemia”collection. These loose updos were the perfect complement to Suzanne Clements and Inacio Ribeiro’s early ’70s, Left Bank inspired styles.

Here’s how to get the look:
1. Work some Pantene Pro-V Classic Mousse through your hair from root to end, then blow dry.
2. Sweep over a section of the front from just above one ear. Use a brush to smooth.
3. Braid the hair to the opposite side, and secure with a clear hair elastic.
4. Braid the hair on the lower section and secure (you have two braids now)
5. For texture, lightly tease the braids starting from the ends and working your way to the roots.
6. Loosely coil and overlap braids, securing them at the base of the head with pins. Pin up any loose strands from the front of the head.
7. For finish, give your updo a light misting of Pantene Pro-V Classic Flexible Aerosol Hairspray.
